What happens when I get 1 million BAEC miles?

I did look and didn't find anything about it? I should be over 550k miles in about one year as an EC member (those 50k trans-Atlantic bonuses help ) -- so i am now interested...

- Is it noted on my card?
- Any upgrades - AA gives two EVIPs when you cross a million mile mark
- Anything?
- Are any of the above based on flight miles (what DL does) or total program miles (what AA does)?

Your miles balance changes over in your EC account to >1million. That's it as far as I know!

You start posting on FT about your miles mountain and not being able to redeem any of it for routes you want to fly at times you want to fly! Sydney at 2 months' notice for four in J - no availability, it's all a con etc!

(And then Raffles jumps in to extoll the joys of Mexico! )

well at least earning miles on BA is nice and enjoyable - at least flying F and J, and miles isn't really the reason i switched to BA.

I'm intrigued to know more about this too! I clearly haven't signed up for it.

Unfortunately, other than being able to call yourself a millionaire, it is a total non-event.

Or if the whole prospect seems overwhelming - I don't have to be your friend, you can just donate a big chunk of miles to fully deserving little me
