8000 point signup bonus for On Business in USA/Canada

For those who aren't familiar with it, On Business is a business reward program from BA for small/medium businesses. You earn points in this program when travelling in addition to the points that you earn in the Executive Club, so there's nothing to lose in joining On Business.

8000 points is enough for a free upgrade from Club to First or WT+ to Club.

To qualify for the signup bonus, you need to take a qualifying round trip flight (originating and purchased in the USA or Canada) by January 31, 2007. All First, Club and WT+ fares are eligible ... as are many WT fares (Y, B, H, K, M, R, L, S are qualifying ... N, V, O and any others are not).

A few things to be aware of ...

You need to provide a Tax EIN to sign up.

You need to have 3 employees fly under your On Business number before you can redeem any awards.

You need to buy tickets in the US or Canada for them to qualify for On Business points. (Awkward as I often buy intra-EU flights separate from the long haul.)

It's not a perfect program, but it's a nice extra, especially for small businesses. OB upgrades go into I inventory for Club and A inventory for First, so I tend to use them when regular MFU capacity is not there, or to save 50,000 points on an F upgrade ...

Enroll at http://www.ba.com/onbusiness with an enrollment code of BABUS77.
