Found by clicking idly on one of them eBay ads. Copied and pasted below. I highlighted the sickest bits. :D ^ Note the distinct lack of ambition in collection amount.

But these are Airmiles, not BAEC miles. 500 miles a week is actually a pretty good rate of earning - aren't they (very) roughly 10 times more valuable than BAEC miles?

I must confess I did purchase one of these from ebay ages ago- but it was only £0.99p and was a guide specific to BA executive club miles- not air miles

Was literally a couple of sentences, but yes it would work- until you get rumbled, which would happen with the companies involved I would imagine pretty soon :D

But, if you factor in the fact that these AREN'T BA miles, then it's the equivalent of (roughly, again) 20,000 BAEC miles a month. Slightly different kettle of fish.

Let me guess ... using the NatWest Air Miles credit card to charge deposits to certain online casinos that treat deposits as purchases? Then crediting the money back into your current account?

Yes sorry my finger slipped - I understand - 20,000 BAEC miles. I meant to be slightly ironic (implying that people here aim to collect more than 20,000 BAEC miles per month) there but I did not do a good job. :o

I am am well aware of BA Miles and AirMiles difference...

You might also run afoul of the money laundering laws, as what you would be doing is one way to launder money, although as this isn't dirty cash to begin with, it can't really be laundered. Banks/credit card comapnies are supposed to report things like this.

Many credit card issuers agrred to block in 2002 the merchant codes for online casinos and yes according to the AML directives it is classified as laundering money :cool:
