The Detox Do - London Christmas drinkies 13th Jan 2007

Guys, it's September, which is the traditional time to announce the date of the Christmas do.... afterall, only 3 months to go

Slight change this year - owing to a surfeit of pre-Christmas events (Salzburg and the mega-do in November in particular), i've decided to do this as a post Christmas detox do - let our livers wind down gently from the Christmas/New Year festivities

Date: Saturday 13th January 2007
Afternoon Tea
Location: St James's Restaurant Fortnum and Masons, 181 Piccadilly.
Nearest tube stops are Green Park and Piccadilly Circus.
Time: 3.15 for 3.30
The day kicks off with afternoon tea in one of London's best known emporiums - Fortnum and Masons. We'll be in the St James's restaurant, for lessons in tea-drinking etiquette, and arguments about who ate all the scones!

Pre-dinner drinks
Location: All Bar One Dean St
Time: 1900
The evening kicks off with a few drinks in our usual haunt on Dean St.

Dinner
Location: Melati on Great Windmill St
Time: 2015 for 2030
And finally onto one of London's finest Malaysian/SE Asian restaurants - where we have the use of one of the private dining rooms

A tentative "yes" here if I don't end up going to SIN run 2007 (usually held during the MLK day weekend).

Great idea - will give the London IC time to work out their inevitable teething problems as well.

Thats a 'yes' from me as well.

Pyeinthesky - I forgot it might be clashing with your annual naked pilgrimage to Oz Fingers crossed...

13th January is Russian New Year (well, Old New Year). A good excuse for a beer of something stiffer. I'm in.

I'm sure we can find you something stiffer - whether it's something you actually want is another question entirely

Calendar currently looks reassuringly empty that weekend so I'm in too - probably without cattle prod
