This is a complicated one to explain but simple in practice:

If you look up BA Miles availability for a return flight, you are only shown return flights that occur after the first available outbound flight. This gives you a false impression of availability.

Let's say I look up BA Miles seats in Club from LON to GIG, flying out and back in August. If the first outbound date available is August 15th, ba.com will NOT show me any available return dates before August 15th, even if seats are available. August 1-15th will be automatically greyed out, implying that no seats are free.

BA probably thinks it is being helpful by doing this. However, if I knew that (for example) I could return in Club on August 10th, I may decide to book the outbound leg earlier using BMI Miles, or possibly go out in another class on BA. At present, the only way I would know if there was an award seat coming back on August 10th would be to look for a one-way seat from GIG to LON - then it would show up.

1) Inability to MFU an open jaw booking.

2) Inability to do an award booking (or MFU a booking) with different classes, eg book an award outward in club, return in first, or MFU a booking outward in WT+, return in club.

I think 2) relates to paid-for bookings too.

Have added both.

Except that you can - sometimes - price it up in the same class, and then request a one way upgrade to the next cabin.

This of course doesn't work if the lower cabin (which you don't want anyway) is full. And doesn't IIRC work with open jaw bookings, or any kind of booking made though the One Way and Multi City option. It only works for a simple return on the Book Return Flights page. And then, not always.

Agreed - it's not the ideal functionality. Will update my comment a bit

a very minor one

but which irritates the cr*p out of me:

The whole website now has been nicely updated with the new look, tidy san serif font, etc. But whenever the system is checking something (flight options, EC details, etc) you get:

Please wait while we retrieve your search results.

In inconsistent Times New Roman.

Arrgghhh ! It just looks terrible. Please someone edit the darn thing.

Unable to change booking online

Booked a flight from France to Scotland with a connection at LGW. I can't change or upgrade this booking online.

We regret that it has not been possible to retrieve the full itinerary details required to enable you to change your booking on ba.com. Please contact your local British Airways office.
Is this an isolated problem with this booking or an issue with having connecting flights including a UK domestic?

Also, would be good to be able to book European sectors CE I-class and the connecting UK domestic sectors cheap as possible. A business class lowest fare search for my above itinerary was very expensive because the domestic sector is not the cheapest posssible.

Thanks for compiling this list.

You mean it doesn't go wrong and is virtually indestructible, and lasts for years and years ?
