Systems Administrator for a leading UK members-only eCommerce retailer, managed to get myself on a few LH business trips this year (AWS training in Boston and LinuxCon in New Orleans) but I doubt if I can get that again next year

Old Age Pensioner.

Currently finding the distance between London and Honolulu (via AMS/BRU and BOS/JFK to name but a few) getting ever greater.
Immigration, security and customs becoming more and more of an endurance and assault course! (thank goodness for GE).

Not quite ready for final retirement!

Backend software engineer, at Amazon (for now). Barely any work travel, none at all for the past ~3 years.

Good luck for the command course!

Have you seen "Up in the Air"?
Indeed I have; surprised nobody else had this username. I've kept the good aspects of my old finance life (the travel), with the added benefit of not having to work downroute (or fire people).

Was mildly surprised to find I was far from the only cadet at both my age and BAEC status...

Thanks for the welcome. Longtime lurker

Work for a large-ish airport in their business development department.

No, not that one posted in my location, either.

Tech company owner and surprisingly with all the Christmas visits to family/friends I've only been asked to fix 2 laptops (so far) so it's been a good Christmas
