Ah, that could be why there are currently two TIP lounges with the same name!

As an administrator I can see a list of the lounges, maybe it has been enabled so that you don't. Apologies

To be absolutely sure, you could input a dummy flight and then see if there are lounges to which you have or think you have access. You can also do this for your actual flights.

If the lounge(s) you believe you have access to do not show on the list, then it should be fine to add it. But otherwise, better not to start adding lounges until you can be sure they do or do not exist. (Note: only the lounges to which you have access based on status/cabin will appear, so if you are not flying F the Concorde Room will not appear.)

In the event there are lounge duplicates, one of the administrators can make the necessary changes, but first checking should avoid that.

Also note that ba.97 and fbgdavidson have added just about every single lounge in the universe, so chances are the lounges already exists! ^

I think I added a ridiculous number of stupid airports, primarily because I was trying to guess some of the 3 letter codes. If anyone uses the following I'll be very surprised!

BAR, BEN, GAY, GRR< HVN, KKW (ba97.com taking credit for that as well as KRW ), OKK, VLS...

From Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to United States Minor Outlying Islands to Turkmenistan we have all the scabby Priority Pass lounges covered*

*Rollout across the fleet due by 2010

Guilty on this count 'fraid, Fraser. I'd originally entered the amusingly-named Rehab lounge in TIP for a flight I'm taking from there on LH. Then when it came to entering a BA flight in C, I was told I was ineligible to use the lounge on the basis of it being for LH pax.

I noticed that there was no EI Gold Circle lounge offered at LHR-T1-Dom - either they've removed the lounge (I haven't done a DUB run on EI ever since their enhancements, preferring the trek to LGW), or it's missing off the list. I guess I'll wait to verify it's still there first.

Is a lounge at your origin airport already in the database?

The ideal workflow for using the system is:
  1. Add your flight sector to the database using the 'flight diary' screen
  2. If you *may* be eligible to use any lounge already recorded, you will be prompted to this effect on-screen after entering your sector
  3. If this prompt does not appear, go to the 'Lounge Visits' screen and select the sector in question. The list of lounges at that origin airport will be displayed on the right
    • The lounges you are eligible to use will be displayed with the card(s) you need to get into them
    • The lounges you are NOT eligible to use will be displayed in a list at the bottom below the eligible lounges
  4. If the lounge you're thinking of isn't on EITHER of these lists then you should add it, with consideration for the points fbgdavidson made earlier.

I think i'll start an 'askBA97' bit on the calendar

How do I modify a lounge to allow access to elites even when flying other airlines?

Only the administrators can do that. Where exactly is the problem? Most lounges (i.e. business class lounges for BA/C already have 'open door' policies included.

LH F Terminal FRA

Access rules still need to be modified: arriving LH F pax transferring to a LH/OS short haul flight in any class may use the F terminal, provided they have at least 90 mins layover (and you don't need to be a LH Hon member).

In Add a flight to your log, since the airlines are sorted alphabetically, this entry defaults to the first one - Aer Lingus.

Why not have the airline default to BA by moving it up to the top of the list?

Another option, no doubt trickier to implement, would be to default to your "favourite airline" defined in your profile.

The calendar is at this time set up for using lounges before flight as opposed to arrivals. Having said that I have added BA Arrivals Lounges for the sake of completeness more than anything else.

As it stands I have set up the HON Terminal for LH F departures and HON members.

Thanks - didnt spot that function when setting up lounge, and seems some others who already set up some lounges also didnt, or else didnt realise there is a category of elites who have open access.

So I need to email admin to request "open door" for all LH lounges, SQ lounges, QF lounges etc?
