As of today, there were only 496 registered users. Have you banned 4 users for insufficient premium travel ?

I tried to make things function on a Mac but as I don't have access to one (and as some know i'm no huge fan of Apple technology) it can be a bit tricky testing. Oh well, I hear you can now run Windows on those Apple devices, obviously everyone should now do this

Rambuster - yes, some were banished, but they were people who had no sectors logged. Banishing primarily economy travellers to a text-only black & white version sounds like a good idea to me though

I am glad I could add some F segments. Hopefully there will be a few more as part of a RTW soon!

Is it a requirement to have sectors logged in order to retain one's account?

Perhaps they were these cyber-stalkers we keep hearing about. Signed up so they can watch all our movements but never enter any sectors themselves

In the spirit of the calendar (ie. having people meet up and share a few jars) I plan on intermittently cleaning up accounts which have no activity.

Ahhh. Activity is no problem I tend to delete sectors once flown, so my diary may appear empty. And I tend not to record all sectors, only ones where I have time to meet up, and when I'm not travelling with a colleague and/or guest.

Perhaps a useful feature upon login would be a popup along the lines of "I notice you're departing from XXX around the same time as XXXXXXXX. Click here for more details".

No flights logged or no flights upcoming? Unfortunately I elected to no longer publish my upcoming travel plans but would like to remain as admin!

So, you're admin....now it makes sense.

Why not list them (ie destination) but keep the exact details (flight nos and seat) anonymous, so for those interested to meet up, they can send you a pm?

BA97, I noticed there may be a bug with respect to filtering. When a person flight is filtered by year, some entries go missing.

Because if I spot someone else who is on the same flight or in need of lounge time I'll drop them a PM myself.

Fraser - if everyone did this then no one would meet up (via BA97's tool). Why don't you enter your flights? There are ways to make it semi-anonymous and as others mention you can always delete later if you want.

I did enter my flights for the first six months or so since it became active but I recently received a couple of rather threatening emails containing more information about me than I'd hoped was available on the internet.

While probably completely empty threats composed by bored teenagers of an unknown source it certainly made me reconsider posting such specific information about my travels. I think anyone in my shoes would have done the same thing and indeed those who have elected not to post their flights at all have done so for similar reasons.

In the meantime I would certainly like to continue in my role as an administrator because I think BA97 has come up with a great and innovative tool and it is very useful. I just hope I am amongst the few who have fallen foul of such people as I'd not like to see the calendar's useful life come to and end.
