OT: 'Abusive' Nun banned from Flight (by BA) - twice

A woman claiming to be a Franciscan nun has twice been barred from boarding a flight from Shetland to Aberdeen.
Sister Ruth Augustus said that British Airways would not allow her to fly because she was carrying a two foot statue of the Virgin Mary.

BA bans

Interesting as the flight is actually operated by Loganair these days.

I wonder what sort of "abuse" the nun was dishing out, particularly with the V Mary watching. I wonder if it was not being able to get it in the locker, or the weight of the items. It could have been wrapped and thrown in to other storage areas on the ATP.

Ah, the ATP, called that because they are only worth "eighty p" each.
Another Technical Problem

Do you think she might have been asking for an extra seat for her statue?

Could she be doing her 25k/50k and trying to enrol the Virgin in Executive Club?
