The Seattle Concorde (G-BOAG) has been ruined somewhat: the tour starts by entering the middle door (in front of the wing) and walking along only the first half of the cabin, the rear is blocked off behind thick plexiglass... as are all of the seats (two large plexiglass tubes run down either side encasing all of the seating area, so there's only a narrow channel to walk down the middle of the aisle - not like it was all that wide in the first place). The cockpit is also off limits and encased within plastic.
cheers

Where will the Concorde be at T5? Outside or hanging gloriously from the souring ceilings inside?

A friend of mine went to the Intreipd in New York where G-BOAD is kept. He said the rear cabin wasn't open for visit (he wanted to sit in my seat!) and in the front cabin plexiglass was used to keep ruffians () off the seats. Can't remember what he said about the cockpit
As for the Barbados Concorde, from what I understand it is under an open-ended hangar at the moment while construction of a proper home is made.
I think the T5 Concorde is going to be a the equivalent of G-CONC (outside on the road approaching the terminal), albeit a little bigger, and be outside rather than inside. I'm merely guessing that because too much of the architectural plans would have to be changed to accomodate a 200ft beast in departure hall!

That said, it's still nice to see Concorde even if she will forever remain firmly attached to terra firma.

Don't panic!
In case anyone is at LHR and is worried because G-BOAB's no longer there, she's only been moved back to the engineering area - it happened this morning apparently. Don't know why, exactly, but I got this info from another PPlace.

Last time I saw her she was looking in need of a good rub down with a chamois. Its probably time too to replace the old rat eaten High Lifes with some fresh stock
That'll be a former Air France example. I dunno, i find the rooftop mounting of the Stuttgart exhibit to be somewhat undignified for such a beautiful bird.
