OT: That island with beach near airport

What's the name of the island with all the photos of aircraft about 5 feet above a beach coming into land. I want to do a search on Airliners.net but can't remember the name.

I'm sure this isn't the one you mean but Dominica (Melville Hall) fits the description.

Better, worse, just another airport? I've seen some additional photos of this (or was it another place) that seems pretty amazing or are these 'perspective shots' that only seem to put things so close together?

I landed there in the dark when flying on Liat hopper from ANU round to the BVIs.

It was only when I saw the photos on airliners.net that I realised it was of interest

Montego Bay airport is right near some nice beaches.

Had abou 9 hours in between flights (Air Jamaica) back to LHR from Havana last July. My friend and I packed suitably and hit the beach in between flights

I would have said just another airport. Nice approach along one side of the island but the landing is nothing out of the ordinary.

Now in terms of nearby airports, Nevis is another issue. There the runway is on a corner of the island and the approach is quite spectacular, although there is nothing around the airport.
