Miles flight late booking
 

Has anyone managed to persuade the UK EC to allow a late (i.e. less than 3 days) award booking where the route is e-ticketable and the flight is wide open in the relevant class ?

Sorry this doesn't answer it directly, but I've managed it with the US EC. There's a fee as they fedex the tickets, waived if you're Gold.

Sorry, not an answer to your question, but a thought- given that we can now change & cancel up to 24hrs before, award inventory is clearly available to the rep via the system at that time... which only goes in favour of such a request. They cant use the old 'system wont show availability inside 5 days' excuse...
