Doing OLCI on behalf of someone else. What will I need?
On Friday my girlfriend is flying over from the Washington http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
She has registered with British Airways, the thing where they send you the newsletters, but she is not in Executive Club. She uses a username and password rather than a Exec Club number to login. As she is going to be in Washington when the 12hr threshold comes up I am going to volunteer to OLCI for her. She is currently in bad seats and no matter who I call at BA they can't move her to a bulkhead as 'they are reserved until 24hrs before departure for those with children'. As many people who fly WT dont know about OLCI I am still holding out that I can get a half decent seat 12hrs before the flight. I have done OLCI from Britain and seem to remember the only thing I would need to do it for my girlfriend would be her passport number (which in my case was stored in BA systems) 1) Can I OLCI on behalf of someone else? or would the BA system recongise a computer in the UK is trying to perform an operation that should be occuring in the US? 2) Presuming I can do it what information would I need? Does the OLCI for flying out of the US use a different system / need different ID criteria to that of someone flying out of the UK Thanks Fraser |
Passport number, Passport expiry date, date of birth and booking res. number. And seat preference http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

If it is as slow for you as it has been for me this last 12 hours, you will need the patience of a saint - I have given up!
Surely BA must know how cr*p OLCI can be (though other times it can be very good...) |

Fraisse 10, I quite agree. This is quite ridiculous, what sort of rubbish system is this?
Whoever put this out into the public domain should hand his head in shame. |
