Heartfelt Thanks To BA Customer Service
 

Several weeks ago my Dad passed away. He was a fun loving Glaswegian, an ex-merchant marine, and one of my best friends.

As such, a BA flight that I was booked on needed to be postponed by a couple of weeks. I didn't make the change to the reservation, but the person that did does not remember giving any reason to the agent. Last night, I returned from that trip.

2 hours before my flight landed at YYZ a massive gift basket arrived at my home with the attached sentiment: "A small gesture of our care and concern".

It was from BA, and I am most grateful. I just wanted to share this with you folks on the BA Board.

I'm very sorry for your loss and touched to hear this story. Very classy by BA, nice to see a more human side to them.
