BA002 delayed

Jut got a call 12.30am NYC time, from my fiance in LA saying BA called her just now to say BA002 on 10/3 is delayed until 11am - strange?

BA1 was delayed yesterday (2 October). Departure and arrival times from BA website:-
BA0001 LHR JFK 02OCT 18:30 02OCT 21:54 Actual
BA0001 LHR JFK 02OCT 17:25 02OCT 20:39 Actual
The SSC crew overnight in NYC and turn straight round to do BA2 the following morning. The delay to this morning's BA2 will be to keep them legal, ie to give them at least the minimum legal rest period.

Are Concorde opts problems simply getting more attention in these last weeks, or is the aircraft really limping and gimping to the finish line?

Not boding well for tomorrow's BA0002 for me. Today's indeed landed 2hrs late.

Better keep my cab for 06:45 in the morning as it is then, keeping fingers crossed that it gets back to schedule.

As a slight aside, was chatting to a colleague earlier in the week who is a very frequent SSC traveller. Mentioned that he hasn't bothered to use it for the past 2 months (instead taking BA First) as the delays, crowdedness and comfort level has dropped recently with the increase in traffic loads as shutdown approaches.

Today's BA001 landed on time, so why do you think tomorrow's BA002 will be late?

Took off and landed pretty much on time. Saw another flyertalker on the plane - hi.

Sat in front of a premier with 150+ Concorde flights under his belt - good effort!
