Newspapers in CE

Is there an official policy regarding when BA offer a wide selection of newspapers in CE. Some flights they seem to have a full selection and others just the 2-choice ET selection.

Or just have a selection on the jetway/ in the terminal for you to pick up. I don't think there is policy.

I just wish they would provide either the Guardian or better still the Independent on a regular basis. I can't stand the Mail (sorry Pucci) or the Express and I'm not overly fond of the Times and Telegraph either.

I echo that, disgraceful rag which BA seems to favour in both its lounges and on board. Though I'm sure it brings happiness to millions of middle Englunders...

Its rubbish!

On my last CE flight the newspapers were in the jetway, and the CSD asked if she could borrow my copy of The Times because her crew only had 'the ghastly Mail'

The Times is almost as bad as the Mail and the Torygraph - it's just the Sun on big paper. I suppose i'm biased though, being a leftie Grauniad reader. From what I've noticed, they usually seem to have one or two copies of the Guardian and so run out; I always try and bring my own copy on board.

Actually last time I was in the concorde room at heathrow, they didn't have any, so like a true (champagne) socialist went out to WHSmiths and bought myself a copy

Perhaps BA should consider stocking the Morning Star in the Concorde Room?
