cabin upgrade BA1502/1503 MAN/JFK route
 

Hi All,

Does anyone know of any plans to upgrade the cabin of the 767 MAN/JFK route. I heard a rumour that the cabin may be upgraded in October. I'm planning on booking my trip back to Manchester for Christmas and wouldn't mind a WT+ seat.

I phoned BA yesterday to ask them and after a bit of asking around the lady who took my call said "Probably, though I have no idea."

Looking as far ahead as March 04 I see no mention of W or T class availability. I doubt very much if the 767's will be done soon, In fact I doubt if they will be done at all. BA still have the Gatwick 777's to do and I would imagine the LHR and LGW 767's would be after those. There is only one aircraft used on the MAN-JFK route as it is the only 2 class 767 destination.

BA are supposed to be looking for replacements for its 767's so that may give a clue as to the likelyhood of ever seeing NCW and WT+ on them.
