"I" Club fares are back

In looking thru travelocity today I noticed that the IEUNBA Club Europe discount tickets are back. Can be purchased from today, and valid from 20 Aug thru 12 Dec.

A quick sampling of routes (ex TAX)

LHR-ARN 213
LHR-MAD 153
LHR-FCO 170
LHR-VIE 192

There's also a "Big Sorry, Small Prices" promo for next week only with some very cheap ET deals as NGOBA. http://www.britishairways.com/travel...e/public/en_gb (which says that a Sat night stay is required, but AA.com and Travelocity do not appear to be enforcing it)

Hi,

Thanks for that, TheCub. ( prices also on www.british-airways.com if you select Club( lowest)

One word; Wow! ( esp for summer time)

These prices are saving over 200 ( for MUC and ARN at least) over the Bank holiday Weekend ( Sat out/Mon Rtn).

I was going to fly SAS to ARN but at these prices, BA will probably win.

( and the miles will get me over 50k for an upgrade from club to First to the USA in the new year )

Now only one problem;

Where to go in Europe??

Regards

However, BA appear to have caught on to the "trick" I used last time these were available. BA776 on a Monday shows no I class availability before Oct 27.

Inventory control seem to have stopped the cheap ET for those flights as well, I was previously able to get V, L and N class tickets on those flights - now nothing thru end of October!

Makes sense for BA, these flights will sell anyhow. Maybe it's time to pick up some cheap BA stock?

OK, apart from the difficulty I am having in getting at these fares on the BA page (courtesy of them removing the nice Fare Explorer), this is fantastic news and potential huge savings.
But does anyone have any information until when these fares will be available for purchase (i.e.when will they stop selling them)?

The cheap N class fares are available until Tuesday; the I class fare details from Travelocity do not give an end-date, but it might be the same.

I've been using Galileo to find the flights with I available on it (http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/people/edelman/travel/galileo/). You should also try www.aa.com; BA sometimes gives AA availability that is not shown on BA.com; and it will save 5 of charges/taxes for reasons unknown.

Hi,

Finally booked

LHR-ARN (I Class)( over the Bank holiday weekend ) for 248.
Especially good as the el cheapo economy fares ( zero tier points & 25% miles was 168!!)

Half price compared to the day before and SAS fares.

Regards

Well, it wasn't quite the ideal time for booking things, but that's the VIE for Christmas sorted out and an MXP and a LYS as well.

Shame they are all ex-LHR and there was nothing on sale from BHX.

Using travelocity see that some of the IEUNBA are available ex MAN via LHR ( none are available on routes with direct flights ex MAN) Question is what is the booking class for the MAN-LHR sectors?

If you book MAN-LHR-somewhere , then the UK Dom portion takes on the nearest available fare code. D and I do exist on UK Dom, you just can't buy them direct, only as part of a multi-sector trip.

The last time they did one of these deals I went from EDI-LGW-NCE - outward UK flight was in D, the return was in I. The return UK Flight showed "Business UK" on the BP.

Under the new rules, and on this special offer, I can get an EDI-LGW-BCN in Club on the second sector for 277 and get 120 tier points (20+40+40+20). A full fare return UK Dom flight is 318 and I would get 40 points.

Nice, I'd have just thought for about a 60% saving you'd have to sacrifice something and lounge access seemed the first for the chop after cancellation and that kind of thing
