Can anyone help with seat config as not posted on seatguru or any other site i can find even BA site. Also any info on the lounge at ANU we are independent ie no tour operator so whant to know what time to get there and is it worth it?????

Welcome to Flyer Talk and the BA Board, stephennoble
If you do a search there are quite a few threads on the new three-class configuration for the Gatwick 777s (as opposed to 767s which are based at LHR).

There have been no seat maps published for this layout that are in the public domain but in previous posts people have given an idea of what to expect.

Rows 1-4 (in the front of the 777), and rows 10-11 (in the front of the second cabin) are NCW, rows 12-14 are WT+ and rows 15 to about 50 are WT.

The lounge at ANU is very small, as is the airport, but it does provide a little sanctuary from the main area which gets absolutely packed. I’d stay at your hotel for as long as you can!

It will be a 777.

As you have made a reservation you can use www.ba.com/managemybooking to see the seatmap. Please let us know the config that is shown!

The LGW-MCO/TPA/ANU B-777-200's will be configured just like the LHR based B-777-000's flying to DEN, CCU, YUL, and PHX (when they revert back to the 777) with no First. There will be no difference.

Agreed......but there is still no published seat map for this config - that's why we are so interested in seeing one or getting feedback.

And if you do have access to a seatmap of the 3-class 777, or the new J/W/Y 767, pass it on to the eCommerce department, so they can put it on the website!

I thought someone on this board wrote a report about flying Club to or from DEN on the non-First configured 777. I'll take a look and see if I can find it. I may be wrong though.

I'm sorry, I don't have an official seat map, just what's in the system. It's hardly a good one to use for reference.

I think this configuration (777 - J/W/M) is a little better than the F/J/W/M configured 777 if you are travelling in J. The cabin is broken up into two sections which makes it seem like the lower deck, high density Club sections on the 744. You also have a chance of getting slightly better service in J to DEN, than you would in J to SEA.

I think I have come across the layout of the new 767 configuration when looking at a trip to TLV for next Jan. No idea where the loos/galleys are - this is just off the system, but may be of interest.

rows 1-4 in 2-2-2 for J
rows 10-13 in 2-2-2 currently showing as Y, but would imagine are W
rows 16-23 & 26-38 in 2-3-2 for Y

Compares to current
rows 1-2 in 1-2-1 for F
rows 6-13 in 2-2-2 for J
rows 17-23 & 26-39 in 2-3-2 for Y

Cheers, Bob.

The configuration of the 3 LGW 777's with 3 class will be slightly different to the LHR ones. This is because the LHR 777's are the long range aircraft and have flight crew bunks in the front cabin and upper cabin crew bunks around doors 3.I have not yet seen the seating plans but I would guess this will mean 4 more club seats in the front cabin, slightly more W/T seats at the rear of the mid cabin and 3 seats less at the back of the rear cabin. These 3 seats will be the cabin crew rest seats as they are now on the non long range 777's.

Ok according to manage my booking the config of LGW-ANU March 05 is

1 0-4-0
2 2-4-2
3 2-4-2
4 2-0-2

10 2-4-2
11 2-4-2

well thats NCW anyway
the booking system shows when these aircraft get refitted as you can book WT+, on the old config WT+ does not feature as available.
When i booked the above flight i could see the exact day that WT+ featured and therefor NCW rather than Cradle seat. I think thats right if not please feel free to shoot me!!!!
