Online booking of mixed class flights

Is it possible to book mixed flights using the online tool? What I want to do is fly out in Club Europe, returning in Euro traveller (because of the I fare sale, C is cheaper than Y on the outward leg). Is it possible to do this online, or does it have to be done via telesales?

Thanks

Telesales

Thanks....

So it's an extra £10, which wipes out the cost saving http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif

There was a chap who posted on the board a while ago and he included a presentation about future developments on the website.

I wonder whether he could give us a heads up on whether this functionality is being developed?

The presentation didn't refer to mixed class bookings. But I have asked BA if there are any plans to offer this facility and never got a response.

When you call telesales they don't seem able to combine the cheapest biz fare (say outbound) with the cheapest coach fare (inbound).

When I've told them that the web site shows a lower fare (but doesn't allow mixed class bookings) they just say they can't access these fares when combining biz and coach.

Does anybody know why?

Swiss, booking mixed class flights online is just like making love to a beautiful woman http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

But it's not, because I can't make mixed class bookings online, but I regularly.... (you get the idea?) http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Seriously though, it is quite amusing to see C class cheaper than Y on some flights this summer. Has anyone else noticed that it only seems to happen on routes duplicated by Easyjet?

This has happened for ages. And yes, it's mainly on EZY routes. Although, I've managed to do this on LHR-BUD and some others, too. I wonder how many people actually check the C (well, I) fares when Y is really expensive? Either way, I love the fact that I'm off to BCN in C on BA for less than the cheapest EZY fare for that particular weekend...

Stut - likewise - am booked to BCN next month on BA for £182 vs EZY which was I think £275 for the same dates http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Isn't life sweet (well once in a while...)
