"U" word using miles. It is possible on all fares through Asiamiles.

Nobody likes the "U" word around here yet people keep asking how to do it.

True, it's one of the most difficult programmes to earn tiers on, but with the miles one can upgrade any return route on BA on any fare in coach, business from anywhere to next class of service.

It's ASIAMILES.

I just used 70K for an upgrade from Biz to First between LON and SAN return next month.

Not any fare - any fare which is itself mileage-accruing.

For BA this means YBHKLMW

See the AsiaMiles website for other carriers.

The chart says "one-class upgrade awards" but also says "Upgrade from Economy to Business class."

Does anyone know if an upgrade from WT gets you to CW, or just WT+?

WT to Business.

There is a smaller chart - though have no idea what the figure is as WT+ is on limited routes for WT to WT+.
