He thought so too. He was flying with another guy (manager? agent?) who was calling the shots. After finishing their breakfasts in the booth area Mr. Stewart wanted to finish off his coffee, but the other guy was getting anxious to get to the aircraft. In the end he said "Right I'm going. And it takes FIFTEEN minutes to get to the gate!". Mr. Stewart grimaced (we jointly rolled our eyes at the hectoring tone) but he carried on drinking his coffee on the high seats until the other traveller was well out of sight. Then he shambled out of the door like a naughty schoolboy.

Nice story! Eye rolling, coffee drinking and rebelliously being late for a flight... is that the definition of "Rock and Roll" in the 21st Century???

For someone like Rod Stewart, I am surprised that a dedicated BA Special Services agent was not in attendence.

Joan Rivers and Ricky Gervais in the Concorde Room yesterday morning about 10.30am (30th November 2012). Presume Ms. Rivers was on her way to NY, and Mr. Gervais on his way to LA, however, i have nothing but a hunch to support my theory.

Ms. Rivers was escorted through security by Special Services. No idea about Mr. Gervais as I just heard his quite distinctive laugh, nay cackle which helped me locate and identify him!

All seemed in good humour!

Special Service escort? Can it be once in T4 I saw her having a tantrum and screaming at security because her carry on was too big

Ricky Gervais was on his way to Oslo. He's performing Sunday night at the Oslo Spektrum.

Boris Johnson on BA0138 BOM-LHR on Saturday. We were delayed 40min getting into Heathrow due to fog. Oh how having a 3rd runway would have helped ey Boris!

Ben Cohen MBE in JFK F lounge. Very friendly and chatting to some other lounge guests who struck up conversation.
