Kim Cattrall back in 2002 in the midst of the "Sex and the City" hype. Our LHR-JFK flight made an unscheduled landing in Portland, ME for a sick passenger and we all had to disembark and go through customs in the middle of the night. Awful flight. The only fun part was when the pilots decided to land in Portland we were just about right overhead and so they yanked back the throttles, threw out the spoilers and we dropped quite fast.

No doubt special services escort them to the plane.
Both of them were sitting in the main lounge area. Admittedly Chris Martin was by the entrance so not sure if he was whisked off to a cabana but Kate Winslett was happy to "muck down" with us commoners and sit in the middle of the lounge.

Really wanted to ask her for a photo but felt her privacy and my excitement shouldn't be mixed.....

When we saw Sarah Jessica Parker she hung out with her entourage/friends in the main CCR and was probably there for around an hour or so. She did get an escort from the lounge.

Still looked fabulous. I'd kind of hoped she wouldn't in the flesh.

Daniel Craig aka James Bond

is in the Concorde Room now; our flight to GRU has been delayed but the lounge seems very quiet.

I'm hoping he will order a vodka martini and when asked if he wants it shaken or stirred replies "do i look like a give a duck"!

Heston Blumenthal on last nights IB3180 MAD-LHR A340-600 in the Business Plus cabin while his assistant was in Y. He was obviously aware the food in IB short haul business is superior to CE.

Also, on the outbound to LPA the week before I was in the MAD T4 Sala Dalí lounge and saw Carlos Sobera - for those that don't watch enough Spanish tv, he's the host of pretty much every popular Spanish tv quiz show made in the last 10 years including Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and Million Pound Drop.

I am surprised she wasn't flying VS given who her new beau is. They normally do.

Seems BA likes to try and fly the stars for awards ceremonies. I know they flew them all in for the BAFTAs last year, although admittedly they were sponsoring it.

As this was the weekend of the Golden Globes, possibly something similar.

If you're interested, this is them coming home about to board a BA flight, according to this online magazine

I have had some footballers on my flights. On a flight to Porto in Summer 2008 I had Anderson from Manchester United on the flight.

Another one at LHR T4 2006/2007 when the liquid rules and the one bag was applied Wayne Rooney had to throw away a womens deo spray and J Rivers also had a fit because her bag was too big.

Adding to this I have been on flights were nobody recognized the "celeberity" who even had her boarding pass next to her arm rest. I was not sure is she was happy or frustrated.

Travelling can be very stressful.

Years and Years ago, travelled with Chelsea Team and various hangers on the Manchester Shuttle after stuffing the Dingles or Blackburn Rovers as they are more commonly known, Does anyone remember the days when footballers didn't hire their own planes?.

No problems with legroom for Dennis Wise and Gianfranco Zola (in fact they could have squeezed into the same seat). I was stuck in a middle seat between Glenn Hoddle and Ray Clemence (in England Management days) but graciously offered to move so they could carry on with their conversation. Sadly no tabloid revelations.
