At least he had the decency to take his shoes off! One of my biggest annoyances when people put their shoed feet up on the bulkhead...!

Saw Russell Brand striding through the T5 baggage hall yesterday, around 2pm. He was alone and had no luggage, but I was at the other end of the baggage hall so wasn't able to work out the flight he'd disembarked from.

Good job your wife isn't called Mandy, otherwise he might have burst into song.

I wonder if the crew member serving them had to concentrate to not say "Any foo for you today, Mr. Grohl?"

Salman Rushdie on LHR-ATL flight (presumably to his Emory University distinguished chair) on 3/13. Risked introducing myself and telling him how much I appreciated his writing and he was very cordial in thanking me for the compliment. Seemed like a nice Knight.

Watching an old episode of Have I Got News For You last night and I remembered I saw Marcus Brigstocke on a flight from KEF to LGW in October 2007.

I had no idea who he was at the time, but my friend new of him. Very funny man.

Am I too late?

Lucky b*stard!!!

I flew CDG-LHR with System of a Down a few years back, but this flight would have been awesome to be on.

LHR-LAX on the 283 today (23rd March) Russell Brand and Katy Perry in the middle seats. He seemed like a nice guy although didn't really speak with him.

Another actress in 1A; not sure who she was (manifest had her surname as Brown) but she spent half the flight reading a script. Very attractive and seemed very pleasant.

And the Hoff in the CCR.
