What summer are they talking about? I have seen some suggestions that summer 2030 before the fleet has been refurbished by which time the competition will have taken a giant leap for mankind in terms of hard product.

I think they are referring to the one NEO aircraft with the new short-haul seats, which has just arrived. Its the usual semi-literate marketing drivel

You may well ask. Let us however thank our Dear Old Can I help you for telling us - although I now see that I have one of BA's more triumphalist emails in my box. He however got the Scoop.

I am far more interested in the Bridge tables returning, Don't you need four for a rubber?

What, they did Bridge on a Plane?
If it was on the IFE and you get partnered with someone from the US there is no way you would understand each other.

But the real question is, how bad is the seat pitch?

As a 63 , 1.90m chap, I sat in these new seats at the showcase and they were actually ok.

This is of course assuming they were laid out with the same seat pitch that theyll have in real life..

You can see I also checked that the headrest will adjust too!

I'm more partial to single malts over JW blended swill but I do wish someone would carry a proper Islay option but Talisker will be as close as we get.

Flew on the first flight this morning, seat pitch the same but with extra knee room and found the Meridian seat more comfortable than Pinnacle, especially the TTOL position.

Just as I receive an email to tell me that our Club Suite seats to Chicago are now crummy old Club World.

Ugh! It's a 77G by the look of it so G-STBC then. Isn't that a downgrade?
