I can't help thinking that passengers in F ought to be group 0 anyway. It seems ridiculous that they're not.

If there is a category to add to group 0, in my opinion should be GFL

I'm on the fence regarding F passengers, honestly.

I'd agree with the common on GfL, if only because GfL currently has no soft benefits.

GfL - Yes, small group, fine

F - No, sorry that's really the whole point - I usually travel in F LH and I want to be on first, get shown to my seat before the crew are busy with others, store my bags (yes, there should be plenty of space, but still), get my pyjamas ordered (+ slippers when they make a full return) and settle down.
The specific benefits for GGLs flying F, who would already be in the CCR/CCDR/Chelsea etc. are slim.
Group 1 are going to be following close behind. I've got no problem at all with prems and celebs being boarded into F before me but I am afraid I think I should be on before others.

There, I said it!

I'm the other way around.

F pax - Yes, I think they should be Group 0. It's a maximum of 14 pax per flight.

GfL - No. They're still Gold, and Gold are Group 1.

I would consider them a bit above Gold

I think the counter here is that GfL does exactly what it says on the tin- it gives you a gold card for life. I'm not sure extra soft benefits above gold are warranted...

GGLfL are Group 0. I see no reason to put GfL in the same bracket (and I'm saying that as someone who will eventually have no status other than my GfL).

I understand the point.
I must say that I see GGLfL more closer to Premier than other regarding priority & unwritten benefits... therefore with other perks to make up for being in group 0 with those with fewer miles under the belt

These posts were extracted from the 'Group 0 implementation thread'. Please continue the discussion here about which passengers ought to be considered as 'Group 0'

As someone who will be flying F for the first time later this year I can honestly say that I'm not in the least bit bothered about what group I'm in. I know my seat is going to be there regardless of when I board and there will be plenty of room for my hand luggage.

Talking

I am a current GGL who will revert back to my Gold for Life in the next few years. After detailed analysis, Gold for Life should have Group 0. No conflict of interest, honest.
