Maybe BA should create a DYKWIA boarding group?

I'm on the fence regarding F passengers, honestly.
My view is Group 0 should be for Prems and GGL only, and it should be consistently offered and rigidly enforced on every flight, not left to the whim of the boarding agents.

I'd suggest they use Group √2 - there's nothing rational about DYKWIAs...

I actually thought there was a Group √-1 as well, but I might have imagined it...

Dont know who else should be included as it was meant to be a small grouping, but as a mere Gold these days I got 0 on two flights (domestic and tatl) last week, so did my current Silver family members on same booking. Error I know.

If you are Group 0 then its correct that everyone travelling with you should be too. Out of interest were you GGL at any time in the past? That seems to be happening for some who were.

Are we already debating how to make group 0 bigger?

Add f and gold to it and rename it group 1

I'd rather board at my leisure than be pigeonholed.

Previously, yes. Def appears to be a random one-off though as back to correct group 1 for later today and tomorrow

You can say the same about GGL/GGLfL. They are Gold as well, so Group 1

After a bit of thinking, I decided I see Group 0 more a status than a cabin thing, so no F included, for me, in the end.

Also, even adding Gfl, I can't see it becoming actually "bigger"... has anyone seen more than 3 other Group 0 on their flight? What's the average, one or two? (I'm excluding travel companions)

Most I have seen so far was 3 groups of Group 0 travellers LHR-EDI, total of 7 people.

I think there were 4 or 5 of us out of Boston on the late flight on Thursday, and that seems consistent with my last few flights home which have also been the late Thursday flight.
Its a bit easier to see at BOS than most places as they will often be in the F dining as well as group 0 being run as intended with a good pause before group 1.
