It's definitely not a total outage. Was able to make a reservation via the GGL line (including UUA) just now.
Had to be sent to backoffice for pricing, but that's pretty much normal with these kinds of things.

It is somewhat amusing that the outage page doesn't seem to work either. The redirect seems to function though.

Doesn't look like phone line contact is affected.

Looks like Akamai error/ problem/ CDN to me at least.

I doubt it's an Akamai problem. There would be some pretty major problems elsewhere if it were.

I saw two people on the Piccadilly Line trying - and failing - to download a boarding pass in the BA app, and getting a little irritated/concerned that they couldn't.

Its about time Doyle demonstrated hes serious about solving this issue.

The website has been down two days in a row, and it really isnt acceptable.

Spend some money and solve the damn problem, because this is hopeless.

Angry

Both app and website constantly returning error messages. All I'm trying to do is check in for a flight tomorrow morning. North Koreans or Russians having some success it seems? Doesn't bode well for the Monday morning rush...

Surely there is some accountability at BA? I find it hard to believe a customer facing business allows its website to be be so poor. Even on good days, it is slow and buggy. But to be down days at a time, why is a working website not a priority?

It doesnt help those trying to check in, but the call centre was great for a new Avios booking just now and waived the offline booking fee with no problem.
