Bitter lemon
I always used to appreciate a Bitter Lemon onboard or in the lounge. They haven’t had any the last three times I’ve asked for it in CE and there’s none in GF today. Has it been enhanced away?!

I think it lasted another year or so after that in in the lounges but I think it was still long gone well before Covid. I seem to remember it was part of a sort of consolidation as Fanta Orange and Sprite (7up?) seemed to disappear around the same time.

Unfortunately Bitter Lemon has not been an 'on board' beverage on BA for about 6-7 years to my knowledge. I do remember they used to carry 4 (and towards the end only 2) cans and I would normally drink them dry when I was taking a TA flight.

I seem to recall having had bitter lemon on TA flights post-Covid, but always only westbound. Years ago, I was told they only had it upfront but the FA was kind enough to bring me a couple of cans back in WT and occasionally, there was a stray can leftover when heading back to LHR that a kind FA would locate for me.

Sprite is definitely still there as it was offered as an alternative to Bitter Lemon by both crews.
Bitter Lemon was being offered until at least the end of last year as I can recall having it on some flights around then.

I just had the crew on today's BA177 to JFK do a search, and alas no bitter lemon, just Sprite. I have seen recently in the ORD lounge.

On eastbounds ex US I used to love getting a bitter lemon (which was near impossible to find in the US) and an orange juice and mix a St Clements. Sad that bitter lemon has been enhanced away, if that’s the case.

But sadly it is no more.
The new bog-standard Schweppes tonic is now horrible too. Shame as I used to enjoy the Schweppes signature tonic.
