Kicked out of 2D, LCY
Well, not me (obvs!), but my better half (GCH, not quite back to GGL yet) is down and up EDI-LCY/LHR-EDI today and was kicked out of 2D (with the extra legroom on Cityflyer) and placed in 1A at BP scan at the gate.
Being on the somewhat bombastic end of passenger relations, she of course enquired as to the reason when on board and there didn't appear to be one, with 2D apparently still free.
So she is now back in 2D courtesy of the crew.
Anyway, I just thought it was interesting given all the recent chatter about being moved around seats in CE on here.
If it can happen to HRH then I assume it can happen to anyone....!

I've been booted to accommodate a dog (a non-rev staff dog at that), but it was only to NCL so not quite as arduously long a sector as EDI. Thoughts and prayers etc.

Coming back to LCY from BER earlier in the week I was booted into 1A from the exit row. No mention made of the upgrade, and only noticed as walked from check-in to security. Sadly no dog available in 2C or 2D to distract me from the horrors of this seat change.

I have seen in the past that their systems cannot handle that row 2 is "premium" so it "recognises" you by "upgrading" you to 1A, rather than specifically booting you out. Definitely prefer the legroom of 2D on BACF.

However having had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Crazy I can confirm she is fairly svelte, and being very careful about canine lingo here to avoid irreparable damage to the OP, I would say the dog needed more space.
