Bears in Mallorca airport
A bit of a speculative/cheeky first post for me, but I have read this forum for a couple of years and have always been amazed how helpful it is.
My tired children both managed to leave their soft toys/teddy bears in the lounge at PMI (Mallorca) the other day on our way back to LHR with BA. You won't believe (or perhaps you will believe!) the amount of grief and sadness we have been at the receiving end of since, not only on the day but each day since. The kids have managed to make me feel sad too! Good news, I called the lounge, the teddies were found and have been moved to Lost and Found, who have sent me a reference number. Like most lost property offices, they won't send the objects, so they need to be collected.
The little angels are begging me to fly to PMI for the day and collect their friends, but as the bears are not gold-plated I am a reluctant, and we don't know anyone who is still there. So here is the cheeky bit - are there any FTers doing PMI-LHR in the near future, who would be prepared to detour via the Lost property office next to arrivals, and collect our precious furry friends?
Alternatively, the lost property office advises we can arrange a courier service to collect. Has anyone done that and has a firm to recommend in PMI?
Many thanks (and some growls from the teddies!)

Sorry, can't help OP but I feel the pain and I remember the need to have multiple copies of the same soft toy available to allow the occasional trip to the washing machine, being left at Granny and Grandad's house or even the odd deviant toy bunny escaping prison by holding on to the bottom of a food delivery van....

I think a courier would be your best bet, if you are genuine forgive my cynicism or streetwise nature, but asking strangers to pick up a bear in an overseas airport, from a one time poster. Those " bears " could be stuffed with anything !

Random Customs Stop at LHR:
Customs Officer: Has anyone asked you to carry anything?
Drug Mule: A man on the internet asked me to bring these two stuffed bears.
Customers Officer: Step this way please Sir.
An absolutely hard no from me and I'm surprised this topic hasn't been locked by the Mod Team.

I'm happy to head to the airport at the weekend and pick them up and send them over if that's a solution for you?
Alternatilvey can bring them to the UK 26th September?
