Which lounge do BA use at WAW (Warsaw) ?

2nd question, is it worth the visit?

Its often extremely busy and has a fairly poor food and drink offer. I prefer to go and sit in the gate area where there are some rather nice food outlets at what are extremely reasonable prices and a peaceful atmosphere.

BA uses the Balero lounge in the non schengen area of the airport. In my view its one of the poorer lounges. Anything non schengen that is not *A uses it so it can be very busy.

The Bolero lounge is not Europes best by some margin, although there are worse ones. It at least has windows and a view of the apron, so is an ok place to while away time. And better than waiting at the gate. Seats are ok, although when busy it can feel crowded. Lots of sockets for charging.

The food selection is somewhat eclectic, but there is always a half decent fridge with cheeses, cured meats and a Greek salad. And the drinks selection is ok - wines are drinkable and it has Campari and Prosecco so a decent spritz can be had. If after proper food the chicken Milanese at the restaurant immediately above the lounge is pretty decent.

Last time I was there I got a good supply of peanuts to bring home. Little packets but big enough for a snack.

Fantazija on Schengen side, for oneworld status passengers.
Yes, worth the visit. Do&Co catering.

according to the one world page, fantazja is only accessible to OneWorld pax flying on AY or QR.

If you are flying with BA you may not be allowed entry

Thanks, that is different to what the OneWorld site linked to earlier in the thread says.

Maybe it's lost in translation, but they spelt Qantas incorrectly (for access under the Emirates codeshare partnership).

Otherwise a very useful table by the airport of lounge access.

At least you're not going to risk Carrie Bickmore mispronouncing it with that spelling

BA is listed on the door and allowed me in prior to my BA flight to LHR today. Its a reasonable choice too.

I always find it very hot, noisy and rather claustrophobic. By comparison in my experiences Ive always found it much nicer, lighter brighter and area in that huge area at the end of the pier where the gate often is, and there are at least three catering outlets. All ate reasonable and have a better selection, in my view, than that provided in the lounge. There is even hot food to purchase as well as lovely fresh, crispy salads.

I also got entry today (1 Oct 23); BA is clearly on the list of airlines outside. The lounge was almost empty - in my area just a KLM crew. Decent selection of food and drink. No planes in sight, views are of the Marriott Courtyard and the car park.

I know this is against FT protocol but I may not even bother with the Bolero.
