Very true and having experienced this now first hand it makes you view everything differently. I do now always keep my phone and passport on me these days. What you notice is the amount of people that take their luggage off with them in an evacuation. On the recent Cathay evacuation you see passengers throwing their luggage down the slide before they jump and slide down.

F bathrooms are way too small except on the 77H. So if you have doors youll have a reasonable amount of room to get changed.

I change in the F lav every time. Sure it’s not spacious and takes a bit of gymnastics but even when I was considerably heavier I made it work.

Indeed, doing so demonstrates that you know exactly what you're doing.
Perhaps, but in the event of an evacuation you will be forever enshrined on YouTube, wandering around the tarmac in your PJs.

I'd consider it a badge of honour that I'd survived unscathed thanks to the skills and experience of the crew: my attire would be the least of my concerns in that situation.

At least I wouldn't be wondering around the tarmac sporting an unfashionable rollaboard.

Exactly. I rarely bother with pyjamas as it's just a bit silly in BA F if I'm honest and no way would I change into them in those toilets or, worse, change out of them at the end of the flight....after everyone has used that toilet.

On a flight back in F from ORD in March I saw a guy in his PJs waiting with his clothes outside the toilet. I'd gone in to clean my teeth and freshen up. Warned him: you're not going in there to change with bare feet, surely? He was!

Quick Q: BA15 LHR - SYD does a short fuel stop in Singapore, and they kick everyone off. Assume a second set of PJs for the second leg SIN - SYD

You were fortunate. I flew LHR-SFO in January and there was a velvet rope at the bottom of the front stairs. Not only to deter Club World pax from encroaching into First, it was also to stop F pax from going upstairs (I wasn't allowed to use the stairs even to go for a walk around the aircraft to stretch my legs)

Got to admit I've stepped in worse.

eta, I've forgotten, don't BA hand out slippers, or am I confusing it with a different airline?
