I think it's a fair enough question. As the OP says, it's predicted to be the busiest weekend of the year for flying. Added to that is many of those flying will be leisure travellers which also adds to queues and general slowness at various points. He's travelling with his mum and understandably wants the trip to go as smoothly as possible so is probably keen to hear the views of those on FT. What will be will be of course.
