...notwithstanding the fact that these programmes are usually one thumping great big advert in-and-of themselves.

Odd that C5 would reuse the title for a doc they have previously shown under that name before

True but a small price to pay when you have to consider you have to pay for a TV licence and I have not had one of those for years.

Yes indeed …… could be rather entertaining if so. Especially if the fantasy of immaculate positioning of crockery & glassware, before presentation to each and every passenger, is peddled once again. And that was just for CW as I fondly recall (for First, precision standards akin to a Buckingham Palace State Dinner are the benchmark)

In the second series, we follow pilots undertaking training on flight simulators, ahead of flying the new Airbus A350 for the first time and we go inside the maintenance centre in Cardiff where a plane is being upgraded with Wi-Fi that works in the sky. We also track overnight ops teams investigating technical faults on two short-haul aircraft and watch as Heathrow ground team dispatch manager, Sally-Anne, is left in a rush to get a plane ready for its departure to Tokyo following its late arrival from Delhi.

Series 1 was British Airways - 24/7...
Channel 5 could, I think, get into trouble for misleading viewers

Perhaps so (although the regulator might have given up on it by now )
Channel 5 - occasionally - has some interesting stuff ; but for the most part it tends to operate in a wacky world all of its own. This, after all, is the home of 22 Kids & Counting and Most Shocking Celebrity Moments of the Decade.
The C5 ‘Christmas Movie Season’ begins annually early September ……. and swiftly ramps up to around four or five festive-themed films daily.
