Avios reward booking - lounge access? BA and JAL.
Hello
I am looking at an Avios redemption from MAN to HND. That involves 3 flights:
Business Class from MAN to LHR, operated by BA
Business Class from LHR to CDG, operated by BA
First Class from CDG to HND, operated by Japan Airlines.
Booking code is U for the BA flights, and A for the Japan Airlines flight.
Do I get access to first class lounges in MAN and LHR, as a flyer with no status from the above?
And for that matter, which lounge(s) can I access at CDG?
Many thanks

MAN - same lounge for all
LHR - yes, Galleries First (not CCR), by showing onward BP
CDG - AF Business lounge (either K, L or M, depending where your flight leaves from). K is pretty much a dump, L and M are on par, with a slight preference for L for me. That said, you can't choose - you use the one in the concourse your flight leaves from.

Here's the schematic I'm trying to decipher: https://www.jal.co.jp/jp/en/inter/service/lounge/cdg/

Are your MAN-LHR and LHR-CDG flights the same day as CDG-HND?
From the oneworld.com lounge page:
Indulge yourself before departure in a wider range of airport lounges when you fly First Class or Business Class with any oneworld member airline, though exclusions apply.
- Customers flying First or Business Class have access to the equivalent class of lounge regardless of their frequent flyer status. First Class passengers may use a Business Class or frequent flyer lounge if a First Class lounge is not available.
- First Class passengers may invite one guest to join them in the lounge. The guest must also be travelling on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld airline.
- Access is available on the day of travel (or before 06:00am the following day), at the airport from which the oneworld flight on which the eligible customer is travelling departs.
- Connecting between oneworld marketed and operated flights:
- First and Business Class customers connecting on the same day of travel, or before 6am the following day, can access the lounge when travelling between an international long haul (a oneworld international long haul flight is defined as an international flight marketed and operated by any oneworld carrier with a scheduled flight time longer than 5 hours) and an international short haul or domestic flight (and vice-versa).
- Lounge access will be determined on the international long haul ticketed flight (either First of Business Class) regardless of the ticketed class of travel on the international short haul or domestic flight.
- You must be prepared to show your boarding pass or itinerary showing travel in First or Business class on the international long haul flight, in order to access the lounge before your international short haul or domestic flight.
LHR - HND via CDF in F. Lounge access Lhr?

Hi
I flew jal f from cdg to hnd in 2019 on a ba avios ticket
we used the cdg afir france lounge in the k gates
jal f pax had a roped off small section of the lounge about 29 seats iirc and windowless) with some snacks and drinks.
The main food and drink areas were in the main area of the lounge and the food looked reasonable.
the lounge itself was quite good for a business lounge with a snall upstairs section also
I did not have that much to eat as I was going to enjoy the jal f service
Regards
