Finding booking class
I am a tad frustrated because I earlier today I booked a BA Holiday but try as I might I cannot work out how to see the booking class. The BA website says to ‘click on the flight number in Manage my Booking’ but that does nothing. I have tried Finnair (got nowhere) and also Royal Air Maroc and managed to get to this:
1 - PSGR P1 ADT RULES DISPLAY FARE COMPONENT 1 ADT LONPMI BA LFLV2BU PU 1 S FCL: LFLV2B TRF: 903 RULE: DP00 BK: L PTC: ADT-ADULT FTC: EUP-ECONOMY SELL UP FARE FAMILY : BAG SU.SURCHARGES BASE FARE BETWEEN LON AND SPAIN AND CANARY ISLANDS I think this means it is ‘L’ class. Is a that right? If not can someone please help me navigate BA’s rather unintuitive IT and tell me how to get the booking class. Yours ever frustrated…. BA or bust |
The Qantas website might work if you enter the booking reference and last name.
https://www.qantas.com/gb/en/manage-booking.html Hopefully this brings up the screen with flight details. If you scroll down to the section on flight details section and then click on each flight I think it should expand to give more information about each flight. In the travel class, it should give the letter in brackets after the cabin e.g. Business (I) |
1 - Go into MMB of your BAH reservation.
Ensure you select "go to previous design" at the top of the screen on either the website or the app version. The "new" version of MMB which is the default is particularly useless and not worth the time of day. 2 - Pick any given flight within the reservation and scroll and select the link for more flight information. 3 - You will see the booking class for the flight in question. Repeat process for all other flights in the booking. |
Looks like an L fare in Economy cabin.

Thanks all of you who responded. Got in now. :)
But why is BA’s IT so woeful… :( |
You could also use the Finnair form which will email you the relevant info. I use it with good success on BA bookings: https://www.finnair.com/gb-en/custom...ticket-receipt

But why is BA’s IT so woeful… :( Good question regarding the usefulness of the newer version of ba.com. It seems to have all the finesse and structure of being designed by a year 7 work experience intern..... I honestly have no idea why it's still the default. The fact the original version is still linked prominently after several years suggests BA knows the newer version isn't worth the time of day and yet we still get suckered in to viewing it. |
Me too, Its now December and its still impossible to follow the existing BA instructions for finding the class of my ticket. They get me nowhere, Why, oh why is your IT so useless BA?
