Advice on Cancelling One Leg of Return Avios Booking
 

Hi all

I am currently booked onto a Club World return (2 people on same booking) to Vancouver in March. As a result of work commitments, I need to cancel one leg (1/4 of total legs), being my return flight.

The booking was made with an 'old style' companion voucher (2-4-1). I have been given 2 options:

1. Split the booking in 2, do not use the 2-4-1, pay the 'full' 180k avios still and then receive 1/4 of the cash fee back.

2. Only use the 2-4-1 voucher on the outbound and then book a separate standalone return flight for my partner.

Does anyone have any bright ideas re. alternative options? Many thanks in advance.
