Deputy Speaker Nigel Evans in the CCR yesterday afternoon at the bar counter with a travelling companion.
I didn’t know who he was, but my sister, who was travelling with me did. We had a good old convivial chat for about half an hour, particularly between him and my sister. i couldn’t definitively tell what side of the house he sat on, until I looked him up afterwards: it wasn’t what I expected, especially as my sister’s politics certainly don’t align with his!

This is only a celeb to the very (and I mean very) niche intersection of FTers who are also fans of Warhammer / Games Workshop - on the ORD flight last night the winners of the Golden Demon painting awards were embarked along with their models - to much genuine interest from the crew!

I also found him emerging from a sports bar in Berlin once - with a young gentleman in tow.
