Yokes aside if the item isn't advertised as being free range either in chef chat or on a menu card then it's safe to assume it probably isn't.

BA has in the past made a fanfare about showcasing finer produce (Dingly Dell sausage, Severn & Wye line caught Salmon etc...) The fact no such mentions are made these days on any menu suggests the base ingredients are pretty mass market and nothing special to celebrate.

But quail lay very small eggs, so they might not be noticed.

Just had to sit through two couples on a flight this morning in ET trying to outdoor each other with their BA knowledge. One ended up getting out laptop and booking a ‘multi-sector’ itinerary there and then shouting out their itinerary, status, seat numbers, BAEC numbers, TPS etc.

Booking with their BA amex of course, with a great quote of “On paper I’ve got lots of money, but liquidity is another matter…”

All washed down with a can of brewdog jetstream I assume taken from the lounge (or perhaps from their personal collection as such BA connoisseurs). And all this before even taxing to the runway. Painful.

If this isn't a pair of clever clogs from this forum I shall duly eat my hat.

Bit sad really.

Anyone using liquidity outside a corporate or ultra-high-net-worth context is a bit of a k**b IMHO.

Feeling like you must have a competition about your material wealth is prime DYKWIA behaviour. Not saying I don’t have some minor materialistic tendencies, but I don’t think they define me nor should they be used to try and “get one over” someone else.

They must have some seriously illiquid investments if they're sat in ET!
