BA2733 Lanzarote to LGW delays

BA2733 from Lanzarote to LGW 26/3/23 @19.45
is showing as over 3 hour delay

Anyone able to give an indication as to what the reason is

And what my actions are, do I just go to the airport at scheduled time?

Your aircraft was severely delayed at Faro on its previous rotation. Itís almost back at LGW now. As to the reason - donít know. Assuming French ATC strikes. There are a lot of accumulating delays today.

Hi,

The general advice is unless you have been contacted by BA is to go to the airport for the scheduled departure time esp if you have bags to check.

Timings on BA.com seem a bit weird
The outbound flight ba2732 is scheduled to leave at 1616 ( ie a 90 min delay) but only due to arrive at 2223 ( almost 3.5 hrs late)

Regards

TBS

Thanks. TBS

At one point @1pm it was showing as over 3 1/2 hours, then 90 mins, keeps changing

Nothing from BA as yet
Sitting in the small lounge, just chilling with a large Cava

Cancelled yesterday March 26 LHR-MXP flight BA0572 9.10am sorry to ask here but cancelled after we flew in from Perth and we had to find accommodation so if we could find out code or reason may assist with compensation

The cancellation code is FCRY, a lack of crew to operate.

This is a technical delay, the original aircraft departed at 0857z and then returned to stand at 0923z. The tech issue necessitated and aircraft change and a long wait for the next available aircraft along with a newly constituted crew, but the delay allocation is overwhelmingly put down to aircraft technical defects or TD.

Any details on why BA 248 was over 3 hours late leaving GIG last night? I can see it was due to late incoming 249. EF says ZO and ZY for both. ZO is operational but canít remember what ZY is.

BA442 LHR AMS 26 March

My wife and daughter were booked on BA442 LHR AMS yesterday. At the airport they were denied boarding due to an equipment change. Rebooked on BA 434 today. Is an equipment change always a reason for EC/261 compensation or does the reason for the change matter?
