I would open two further claims. BA paid me £880 when 2 passengers had 2 flights cancelled on the same day. I rerouted myself and then claimed back the new fares also. BA pushed back on this and on the £120 taxi fare from Southampton airport but conceded and paid everything when I threatened CEDR.

The problem with BA is Heathrow and so while Swiss may have been operating it is possible that there were restrictions or knock on operational impacts that limited BA ability to fly its schedule. They then cancel flights with light loads, low connections low yield when they can. Saturday 19th August a case in point with both BUD services cancelled. This is low fare route even in Club.

Only one material cancellation:
BA223 BNA - B788
BA9173 CWL, most unfortunate.

And 330 departures from LHR for BA today.

Not sure if this will eventually qualify as a delay but the BA 2037 LGW-MCO returning back to Gatwick now.

2037 diverted due to Ďaircraft defectsí and was subsequently cancelled with the code DAMY, so the windshield crack fits the bill.

What's unfortunate about the flight to CWL? Was it a 777 frame meant to be going for CS?

If you"re offered rerouting to depart less than an hour early and arrive less than two hours late, compensation isn't due.

Usually medical

The flight actually then continued to JFK , presumably not enough crew hours to get to Houston but they wanted to get somewhere they could get everyone into hotels / onward flights easier. BA196 IAH-LHR then cancelled
