And for future reference, it's in post 1.

Monday 7 August - update
BA1350 JER did not operate yesterday, in addition to those previously advised. I can't see why, a common reason is weather, but that's not marked on this occasion. In addiiton there was disruption to JNB flights - see the Niger thread for more information.

HAL also reported there was some sort of congestion in check-in on Monday, around 14:00 hrs. That generally impacts luggage, but apparently not on this occasion, it was passengers who were affected.

Tuesday 8 August
Just the one so far.
BA193 DFW - A388 so I'm going to guess it's technical and thus claimable.
BA is scheduling 334 flights today.

G-EUXD went tech in MLA with a rudder issue and this is a knock on effect. TECY.

1350 was TECY. Brake issue on G-EUOF.

193 is AIRN.

The code against BA2796 cancellation is TECY?

The aircraft allocated most of the day to BA2796 (LGW-AGP) was Avion Express 9H-SWC rather than G-EUXD, and this seems to have been re-allocated to Seville at roughly the same time as the cancelled Malaga flight, so I suppose that was where G-EUXD was supposed to be?

Lhr-zag ba 848

Flight delayed from 08h45 to 13h15. was supposed to land at 12h10.

Ultimately departed around 13h38.
Arrival 16h51.

Power could not be connected to aircraft from the gate.

Change of aircraft eventually but then flight crew timed out.

Any idea if compensatable and what codes to use.

Happy to be flying but irritated with delays, loss of days plans and tours.
Thank you.

Not entirely sure what the previous allocations were but 2796 is listed as TECY and was due to be opd by UXD at the point of cancellation. There may well have been a re jigging of frames, more seats to AGP per day than SVQ.

No codes to use and this will be claimable. Essentially a technical delay, the crew going out of hours will be consequential due to the tech issues and the airlines rostering. Id imagine elements of the crew operated into LHR prior to operating the ZAG rotation. Regardless the route cause is a technical issue and the delay is over 4 hours.

COM is commercial as I understand it. That first use of COM should read COMN and not comm.

Wednesday 9 August 2023

BA239 BOS - B772 - see today's posts in the EC261 thread, multiple failures, but in short claimable in my view.

So the above isn't actually a cancellation, and it originated yesterday anyway. No other reported cancellations. BA will run 335 flights out of LHR today.

Wednesday 9 August 2023 update
This got cancelled during the day:
BA183 JFK - B772, the late NYC service.

Thursday 10 August 2023
BA9176 LGW -B772, hopefully not too many people disrupted
BA283 LAX - A35K - I would assume claimable
Otherwise 332 BA departures from LHR today.
