The BA366 LHR:MRS today

I see it's going back to LHR. Anybody know why. I've got friends on it.

TIA

Thank you. I've heard from my friend. Seems there is a technical issue that can't be fixed at MRS. Sounds a definite case for EU261 to me.

Question BA549 FCO/LHR today

Anybody know why this flight is delayed 3 hours when the outbound arrived on schedule?

From a cursory look at FR24 it looks like BA548 has diverted back to LHR when over France

So yet again, I have had a flight cancelled for three of us LGW-AMS, Aug 14 BA 2826. The options offered are at best about 5 hours later which means we have lost a half day of our four day break.

Options out of LHR don't work as our car will be at LGW.

Before I reluctantly accept, are there any other ways of doing this or should I take what is offered? Is there any EU261 as this is ten days out?

After speaking with family I have agreed to the new itinerary. I notice also that more than 4 hours delay qualifies for EC261 on a ten day notification of cancellation.

Could someone please let me know the reason for the CX so I can see if I can get three times the compensation (3 pax)?

BA565 cancelled tomorrow (August 5) and rebooked on August 6. I will get home some 20 hours late from Italy to the US. I assume this means 600 Euros but I would appreciate the wisdom of Flyertalk.

Second the above. The notes on the first of these flights is telling enough and are indeed FCRY to relieve pressure due to a lack of flight crew. Iím sure BAEF and BACFís commander in chief will hail this as a great success.
