Brilliant, thanks again KARFA.
It's only really at the beginning of every year and on the remarkably frequent occasions when I have to dip into the dashboard that I remember the mammoth amount of behind the scenes work that goes into making this place such a useful resource!

Thank you as ever KARFA - I hope to see you again in the CCR some time.
I have a question redolent of old age. My very elderly mother will be accompanying me some time soon in the evening. We have dinner. As many women in their 90s are, my mother is partial to a drop of sherry. I wonder if they carry it off menu? Does anyone happy to have asked for it?

This looks absolutely awful.

Meanwhile, my trip on the 31st Dec. Same December menu.

The infamous Marmite Martini. I enjoy marmite; I enjoy martinis; I did not enjoy this. Something about the marmite with the citrus just didn't work for me - did anyone truly enjoy this?

Chicken terrine - very pleasant. Light and tasty. Turkey pie - I thought would be a little more substantial and contain more filling, but this was perfectly enjoyable. I'd have maybe have served it with some cranberry sauce.

The Christmas Delight cocktail someone recommended. Not for me - nutmeggy, vodka concoction. The chocolate orange cake was tasty, maybe a little too rich and dense but I'd happily order it again.
