Amex 2-4-1 First Redemptions
Hi
I was online last night at midnight doing a test run for a 2-4-1 in F for a T-355 next week.
I have managed to grab a couple of F seats previously, but last night no F seats were released. I know BA do not promise to release these at T-355 but, has anyone seen a pattern as to when they do release these seats?
I have seen F to MEX availability, but pretty much zero elsewhere - any pointers greaty appreciated, at this point I am resigned to grabbing J.
Thanks

I’d say your best bet is to take the club seats now and sign up to SeatSpy to monitor First availability. You’ll need the top tier (that alerts fastest) and to be prepared to call BA immediately.

Oh crikey, then it’ll be J for sure! If for instance California, you may be in luck, late November plenty of F opened up to San Jose, Los Angeles and San Fran over Xmas period. So I’m in F return over new year. However, those places will sell for a huge amount. Only 8 F a day to Sydney can’t see any opening at all

BA Used to operate more flights to Asia - For many travelling over that way now they'll be flying to SIN rather than potentially the likes of KUL or BKK.

If you're avios rich, ditch the 241 and fly Qatar perhaps ? I've got two seats in November 2023 DUB-DOH-BNE / SYD-DOH-LHR. Was 406,000 and £761 all in for two.
