Resurrecting this rather than starting a new thread. Understand no TPs/Avios on AA marketed / B6 operated domestic flights. Am I correct that (aside from possibly finding a flight cheaper via AA, if that ever happens), there are also no other benefits as a BAEC status holder when booking B6 operated flights via AA? eg Admiral's Club access, checked bags, seat selection privileges etc. Just trying to work out if there is any benefit whatsoever in booking via AA codeshare rather than directly with B6.

The only benefit I can think of is that if there are irrops on the day, having the AA ticket may help rebook to an AA mainline service. Also review the checked baggage entitlements, though this could go in either direction if it's relevant.
