Premium Product Turning a Corner?

Hi all. I write to you mid flight from seat 2A on BA209 3 Nov 22.

This is my first pass at the new international F menu and I wanted to say I am impressed. Chilled Beef Wellington as a starter shouldn’t work but it has been cooked perfectly. All four mains are F only, and 5 of each were loaded (!!) and the wines: both a 2005 Ch. Armailhac (Rothschild) and a 4th growth 2006 Ch. St Pierre - a fantastic option and a menu encouraging tasting both. What was particularly nice was seeing the crew take pride in the soft product. It doesn’t happen that often.

Now if only I didnt have to ‘transit’ in MIA…..

Great to hear of good service. Except for a short period during the pandemic, and unlike the likes of EK and QR, BA have always provided different catering in First compared to Club World.

Would the BA207 have the same menu as the 209?

Turning a corner like a lemming turns a corner parabolically downwards off a cliff, if you believe this forum

Also had the chilled Beef Wellington and was very impressed. Perfectly cooked meat and plenty of flavour

Well, I wouldn’t want my positive review to sound too much like comparisons, not least of all to my primary airline!
