Lounge Access

Travelling with friends to Europe via Heathrow from Aberdeen,

Flying Club Europe from Aberdeen and euro traveller from Heathrow.

Will my friends get lounge access at Heathrow based on the arrival flight being Club Europe?

See this master lounge thread - looks like Scenario 3 in post #4.... BA lounge access guidelines

You say friend and friends - notwithstanding the guidance above for them individually, you can guest one in, based on your silver status.

If doing CE from ABZ-LHR, and ET from LHR-ATH, absent of any status, you would not get lounge access at LHR.

Based on the rules posted above, there is not one single scenario where a OWE could host two guests in any lounge, correct?

If doing CE from ABZ-LHR, and ET from LHR-MRS? Yes it would be the same answer - no lounge access at LHR.

I've never had occasion to try it out, but is the lounge access thread out of date then, or am I not reading it correctly? eg: "BA for example will permit lounge access to passengers without status, travelling in Euro Traveller connecting to/from a Club Europe flight."

Think it is out of date. Happy to stand corrected though if I am mistaken. When UK domestic legs were a one class service I recall that if a non-Exec Club status passenger travelling on a domestic leg connecting to/from CE or CW access was granted at lounges at both boarding points.

possibly. I think QF have different policies re children and whether they count as guests - not sure if if applies to all or just QF status/passengers.
