What’s a Nasal Cannula?
Well, what is it and what do you do with it and why is it very specifically indicated?
And if you don’t think it’s anything to do with BA here’s the photograph (A321 just above row 23 for those of you who never venture aft of row 1).

It could deliver oxygen to an ill passenger in a fairly concentrated, localized manner

A nasal cannula (sometimes called nasal prongs overseas) is used to deliver low flow oxygen to a patient, usually 2-4 lpm, most commonly to a stable patient or a patient that cannot tolerate a non-rebreather mask. It is hooked up to the medical oxygen carried on board and as noted earlier the O2 is in that same locker.
